This grit is ideal for automotive, fiberglass and hobby. Fine grit tackles pitted rust and leaves a slightly textured surface needed for repainting. Use fine grit to clean surfaces and create a smooth finish.
The most universal, Medium-fine grit is ideal for industrial applications, bridges, tanks, steel construction and fabrication where a reduced profile is desired.
Use Medium for industrial applications, bridges, tanks, steel construction and fabrication.
Use Extra Coarse for repair and maintenance blasting for the removal of paint and heavy rust, shipyards and steel beams.
At Chesapeake Blasting Service and Supply, we sell only Natrium Products Soda Blast Media. It is not because some contract forbids us from selling anything else, it is because we feel that every other option for soda blasting media is inferior. We’ve used many different kinds and brands of soda blast media and Natrium Products is the only brand we will use when we are soda blasting and it is the only brand we would consider selling. It’s all about crystal size.
